Jr Boys take Silver in The Pas
The Jr Boys Volleyball team wrapped up this weekend with a second place finish Dec 1/07 in The Pas, Manitoba. We were down to only 7 players due to a conflicting hockey tournament, so the boys barely got to rest. Players in attendance were Darcy Rothlander (Captian), Zach Alexander, Mark Linnick, Kirk Transhel, Carson Mackonka, Marcus Laliberty and Keegan Eastman. As a coach I really relied on the leadership of the grade 8 players. I also saw a great deal of improvement in the grade seven rookies as the tournament went on. Congratulations of a successful season.
